Changes On the Way for High School Softball

The National Federation of State High School Associations has ruled that the female fast-pitch pitching distance will increase from 40 feet to 43 feet, effective in 2011.  But individual state athletics associations, including as the NMAA, may adopt the rule change as soon as this upcoming season.
